About the Role
We are looking for a Payment Operations Officer to join our Payment Operations Team.
The Payment Operations Team is responsible for delivering end-to-end transaction processing services for Clients, incorporating Cards, Chequing, Direct Entry, BPAY, NPP, Card Services and support.
Responsibilities for the role include:
- Providing client & customer operational support;
- Exception processing eg dishonours, returns, rejections;
- Completing Investigations eg mistaken payments, traces, recalls;
- Dispute processing for all payment schemes (Visa, ATM, Mastercard, Eftpos, Direct Entry);
- ATM support; and
- Reconciliation of general/banking ledgers and accounts.
This is a fulltime, permanent position located in our South Brisbane office, with the ability to work from home.
About You
You will have experience in financial services, ideally in back-office operations or Branch/teller experience. You also enjoy being part of a dynamic team with a passion for problem solving and service delivery.
If you possess these qualities and most skills listed below, we would like to hear from you:
- Experience or knowledge of general/banking ledger and account reconciliation concepts.
- Knowledge of scheme regulations, requirements, and compliance.
- Experience or understanding in either; cards, cheques, direct entry, BPay or NPP processing.
- Intermediate to high investigative analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy with data entry.
- Ability to work in a busy environment and multitask.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
