About the Role
Reporting to the Technology and Infrastructure Portfolio Manager, this role is responsible for the effective management and delivery of a large range of programs and projects in accordance with our corporate project management framework and our agile delivery framework. Key to this role is the ability to learn, share and grow as you manage multiple projects, working with all internal and external stakeholders to expand our product and customer base.
Essential to your success is adherence to Indue’s best practice delivery framework, ensuring stakeholders are informed, engaged, and have appropriate expectations throughout the course of the project.
Responsibilities for the role include:
- Engage all relevant internal and external stakeholders and ensure transparent communication throughout the project delivery.
- Deliver complex projects through the project life cycle from initiation, execution to closure, focussing on scope definition, resourcing, budget, supplier and client management, risks, and issues.
- Manage and Control Sponsor and Executive expectations via transparent reporting and timely maintenance of key project management artefacts.
- Within the project management context, act as an internal subject matter expert in infrastructure project delivery and the associated governance and compliance requirements.
- Facilitate the timely and effective resolution of project issues either through direct management of them or by escalating them to the Portfolio Manager or Head of Project Management.
About You
You will have all or majority of the following skills and attributes:
- Formal qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Business, IT or Project Management
- 7+ years’ experience as a Senior Project Manager and/or Program Manager supporting the effective delivery of programs or projects
- Demonstrated ability to effectively plan, manage and deliver medium to high complexity projects to time, quality and cost criteria
- Demonstrated ability to effectively develop and manage varied client and stakeholder relationships and expectations. This includes the ability to communicate effectively and to influence others.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Additional skills that set you apart:
- PMBOK or Prince2 Certification beneficial
- Experience in both structured and agile delivery methods, managed projects through both methods.
- ITIL knowledge/experience
- Experience managing vendors as part of the project’s delivery
- Experience delivering large infrastructure projects and programs (cyber-security; cloud migrations; SaaS tooling; network infrastructure transformation and system upgrades)
