About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the Supplier Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing technical IT suppliers in alignment with the Supplier Management Framework and relevant legislation. This includes maintaining strong supplier relationships, managing performance and contracts, and ensuring delivery is timely, cost-effective, and low-risk.
As the Supplier Manager, you will work closely with Finance, Risk, Procurement, and other technical stakeholders to support tender negotiations, monitor supplier performance, and drive continuous improvement. A key focus will be ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while optimising the supply chain to meet organisational objectives.
Responsibilities for the role include:
- Manage suppliers in alignment with our Procurement and Supplier Management Framework
- Track and monitor supplier performance against agreed KPIs, SLAS and targets monitoring, ensuring adherence to quality, delivery and cost standards.
- Assist in the management of procurement processes and tenders including the maintenance and update of procurement and RFP documentation.
- Coordinate procurement activities such as developing artefacts for renewals and purchases, as required.
- Identify areas for improvement and collaborate with other teams to provide feedback on uplifting existing processes.
- Oversee and maintain cost management processes, contributing to cost-saving efforts by optimising supplier relationships and processes.
About You
You will have all or majority of the following skills and attributes:
- Experience in a procurement, supplier manager role is essential (3 – 5 years).
- Demonstrated understanding of risk management.
- Strong communication and written skills.
- Ability to prioritise and influence to achieve outcomes.
- Intermediate level skills in typical Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- A high level of customer service focus.
Applicants with the following additional skills and attributes will be highly regarded:
- Previous experience in a similar role with an ADI.
- Financial services experience and knowledge
- Knowledge of ICT – Technology, Infrastructure, and Services.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Supply Chain Management, IT or similar.
