Job Description

About the Role

As a Senior MS Windows Engineer, you will be a key member of our infrastructure delivery team, responsible for implementing, optimising and maintaining Indue applications and services, both on-premises and in Azure cloud. 

The role supports our project delivery function to implement new product features, changes due to regulatory requirements, and client on-boardings, as well as supporting improvements in our infrastructure platform and broader environment. 

The role will have scope across the full technology stack and will work closely with key stakeholders across the business and other technology teams within an agile environment to build highly scalable, resilient, and secure systems for hybrid, containerised, and multi cloud platforms.

To support ongoing business continuity this role supports rotating hours of work and after-hours support.

General responsibilities for the role include:

  • Implementation of solutions in-line with Indue standards, including completion of operationalisation activities.
  • Contribute to development and maintenance of Infrastructure/DevOps Standards, required in delivery of project works
  • Delivery of advice and guidance in relation to provisioning the environments with standards defined in Cloud & On-Prem using IaaC
  • Participation in estimation, quotation, and customer tender processes
  • Monitor, manage and report on Indue’s systems using established management tools and procedures.

About You

You will have all or majority of the following skills and attributes:

  • 5+ years of experience in Windows systems engineering within enterprise environments.
  • Highly capable with the following technologies:
    • SCCM
    • Microsoft SQL
    • Microsoft 365 and associated services
    • Windows Server
    • Virtualization (VMware ESXi).
    • PowerShell scripting and automation.
    • Cloud platforms, Azure preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities 
  • Experience with Packer/Terraform/Puppet/Octopus Deploy/Ansible or similar tools along with DevOps practices will be highly desirable.
